Do you have vinyl records or CDs that you would like to sell? Record Town would love to buy them from you. Vinyl and CDs must be in excellent condition with very minimal scratches on the media along with original covers or cases in clean condition.

What Do We Buy

We are primarily looking for vinyl records and CDs for genres like rock, country, jazz, blues, soul, funk, bluegrass, western swing, and global music such as Spanish, Latin and reggae.

What We Buy in Limited Quantities

We buy limited classical and easy listening music from popular artists like Van Cliburn, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Dean Martin.

What We Do Not Buy

We do not buy vinyl albums that are in bad condition with deep or excessive scratches or scuffs or have water damaged, animal chewed or generally ragged covers. We do not buy 78's and very rarely 45's or cassettes.

How We Buy

The experienced staff at Record Town will review your collection to determine a fair offer. Small collections of under 100 vinyl records or CDs can be brought to Record Town and we will evaluate them immediately and make an offer. Please call ahead of time and let us know when you would like to bring them in. 

If you have a larger collection, we can make arrangements to come to you. We can make an offer “on the spot” or perform a full evaluation. It may take a couple of days to perform a full evaluation of your collection and make an offer.

How Much We Pay

Record Town always pays top dollar for vinyl records and CDs in excellent condition. Typically, you can expect to receive $1 to $3 for vinyl records and 50 cents to $1 for CDs that are not considered rare. Collections containing rare vinyl records will be priced fairly to make sure you receive the maximum payout.

If you have a stack of vinyl records or CDs that are just in the way, we are happy to take them off your hands and add them to our FREE CART so other music lovers can enjoy them.
