Cadillac Johnson
Director of all store operations and a Texas musician icon. We are beyond lucky to have him on our team!
Cadillac grew up in Houston, starting to play guitar by the age of nine. He grew up with ZZ TOP’s Billy Gibbons and played as an interim bass guitar player for ZZ TOP. Stop by to catch him sharing his stories and knowledge of music. He also actively plays around the Fort Worth area.
Bill Mecke
Owner and ultimate music lover. Bill has been in love with Record Town for over 20 years and probably spent half of his yearly income at Record Town. Bill loves the roots of all music, especially the blues, rockabilly, garage rock and conjunto. Come on by and enjoy a great conversation with a true music lover.
Zack Quiroz
Born and raised in Montana, Zack has been an avid collector since he was a teenager. As marketing head for the store, you’ll see him at all of the major community events around town. In-store, Zack is a treasure trove of knowledge about the latest releases and the classics, and is always happy to give a recommendation. Ask him about The Beatles, David Bowie, 80’s New Wave, 2000’s Indie Rock, and Power Pop. His favorite Texas band is Spoon.
Juan Trahan
Meet Juan Trahan, Record Town's resident jazz aficionado. He loves to talk "jazz" with customers and trade insights from years of personal collecting. If you love jazz, Juan is the guy for you!
In addition, Juan uses talents from his previous life in the corporate world to keep operations running smoothly at Record Town.
An avid cyclist, globe-trotter and talented photographer - Juan is a man of many talents.
Sherri Mecke
Sherri is the "free" help, jack-of-all-trades, team member. She helps with a little bit of everything at Record Town. She is pictured with Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top. She is typically not overally impressed by "celebrities" but as you can see by her smile that was not the case meeting Billy! What a classy, nice guy!
