Early country music theme’s still resonate today. Timeless songs of struggle, protest, and joy written by and for ordinary people.
With that spirit, we gathered around a tape machine in Fort Worth, alongside friends in the Texas music community, and started to play.
The result is a collection of songs that celebrate our shared love of country music and it’s lasting message of hope, dignity, and perseverance. Fourteen songs that help define the world around us while maintaining the radical spirit inherent in the tradition of American folk music.
An album we call PROGRESS.
