It is ALMOST HERE!!!  Record Store Day celebrates independent record stores with limited-release titles that are only available indie record stores.  Many of these titles are pressed in small production runs and become very collectible on or after Record Store Day.  It's a tough spot to be an independent record store - typically we have to compete with big box retail stores who sell vinyl and CDs for the same titles.  But that is a different story on Record Store Day!  

This year we asked for and received A LOT OF REQUESTS for titles on the Record Store Day list soon after it was announced.  As a result - we ordered more than DOUBLE the titles we've ever ordered before!  If we were asked about it, we ordered it!  We currently are sitting at over 75 titles on hand or shipped to us.  There are a few titles we were asked for that we ordered that haven't been shipped yet - we are really hoping those will make it in too.  Many titles are tightly allocated and we never know what or how many we will ultimately receive.

As usual, we will open the doors on or before 9:00 AM Saturday, April 20th.  We will pop in and take care of a few last-minute items to get ready and then will let the shopping begin! 😀

You can see what we have on this link.  It will be viewable online but no purchases can be made until Record Store Day in our store on April 20th beginning 9:00 or a little earlier.  Right now the titles say "SOLD OUT" when you click on them.  We have them set so they can be previewed but not sold and the SOLD OUT designation is the way we can do that in our system.  They are not sold out, so no worries.  We have already received a lot of questions about the Olivia Rodrigo and Noah Kahan single and the Noah Kahan LP - YES we have those coming in! Woo Hoo!

The night of Friday, April 19th we will switch things around in our system so we can sell the list in our store on Saturday when we do that the list will not be available for viewing online.  But after we close around 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 20th, we will place any remaining titles for sale on our website. 

We are very thankful to our customers for all the feedback regarding their Record Store Day wishes!  We did our best to get everything folks asked for - we want to see everyone delighted with their prizes when they shop with us.
