We are super excited about the this year's RSD Black Friday.  There are tons of fantastic releases on the list this year.  For those new to RSD Black Friday - this is a special shopping day exclusively for independent record stores - big chains are not offered these releases for sale.  This is a way to give us little guys something special to offer our patrons on the official kick off of the gift giving season.  Many of the releases have a limited number of pressings which make them potential collector's items if they are well cared for. 

Black Friday is a big deal for all retailers, but it is especially critical for small businesses like ours.  This special shopping day when we can offer exclusive merchandise to our patrons is a great boost for little indie record stores like ours.  We have invested in some really cool titles and hope you feel the same way when you see them!

We have already started receiving some of the releases and are expecting more in the next coming days.  We are providing our list so you can plan your shopping day and hopefully snag that special album (or albums) for yourself or the music fan on your gift giving list.

Record Town will open early at 9:00 am on Friday, November 25th and close at 8:00 pm our regular time. We can only sell these releases in our brick and mortar store on Friday.  But any copies remaining after 8:00 pm on Friday will be listed online and available for sale there as well as in the store.  These releases are tightly allocated to each record store due to limited pressings.  We have a great assortment of titles but most have limited quantities on hand. So - come early for the best selection!  We want to see a bunch of happy shoppers who were able to snag that cool, exclusive release they wanted.
